What BTTR is

BTTR is a curated index of skateboarding tutorial videos hosted on YouTube. We organise and recommend content to help skaters learn, but we do not create or own the underlying videos. Video playback is provided by YouTube and is subject to YouTube's own terms.

Accounts

Some features require a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing in.

Community submissions

Signed-in users may submit YouTube links for consideration. By submitting, you confirm that:

  • The video is a skateboarding tutorial relevant to the category
  • You have the right to share the link
  • The content does not violate applicable law

We review submissions and may approve, reject, or remove them at our discretion. We are not obliged to publish every submission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, harass, or spam the service or other users
  • Attempt to access data or areas you are not authorised to use
  • Submit misleading, duplicate, or off-topic content
  • Scrape or automate access in a way that harms the service

Intellectual property

BTTR's name, design, and curation are ours. Tutorial videos, thumbnails, and channel names belong to their respective creators and platforms. We display them for educational discovery purposes.

Disclaimer

Skateboarding carries inherent risk. Tutorials are for educational purposes only. BTTR does not guarantee that any trick, technique, or spot shown is safe or appropriate for your skill level. Always wear appropriate protective gear and skate within your ability.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of categorisation, or availability of third-party videos.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BTTR and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the service or from following tutorial content.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or change features at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
