BTTR ("we", "us") operates bttrskate.com, a curated library of skateboarding tutorials. This policy explains what data we collect and why.
What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Your name and email address
- Your Google profile picture (if provided)
- A unique account identifier from our auth provider, Supabase
When you use BTTR while signed in, we store data linked to your account, including:
- Saved videos
- Watch history
- Trick progress and onboarding preferences
- Videos you submit for review
We also collect anonymised usage data through Vercel Analytics (page views and performance metrics). This does not include your name or email.
How we use your data
- To provide your account features (saved videos, history, progress)
- To review and moderate community video submissions
- To improve the site and understand which content is useful
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
BTTR relies on these services to operate:
- Google — sign-in authentication
- Supabase — database and account storage (hosted in the EU/US depending on your project region)
- YouTube — tutorial videos are embedded and hosted by YouTube; their privacy policy applies when you watch a video
- Vercel — hosting and anonymised analytics
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. These are required for account features to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies beyond the anonymised analytics described above.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing glen@studio-juicebox.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA, you have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the email above to exercise these rights.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
